Terms

About these terms

  • These terms apply when you use mrrzero.com. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
  • We may update them. If a change matters, we'll tell signed-in members before it takes effect. Carrying on using MRR Zero after that means you accept the new terms.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Your profile, handle and track record must be honest. Don't impersonate anyone.

MRR Zero is a venue

MRR Zero lists apps and hosts pitches, voting and transfer checklists. It is not a party to any transfer and never takes ownership of an app, its code, accounts or data.

Owners

  • You warrant that you own the app and its code, assets and data, and have the right to transfer them.
  • You confirm the app earns under $1 a month in recurring revenue. MRR Zero may ask for proof.
  • You disclose what user data exists and whether the code is wholly or partly AI-generated.
  • You must not hand over user data in breach of privacy law, including UK GDPR.

Transfers

  • Apps transfer as-is, with no warranty from the owner or MRR Zero, and with no payment in this version.
  • Third-party licences and paid services become the new owner's responsibility after transfer.
  • The new owner takes on the privacy obligations for any user data they receive.

Acceptable use

  • Don't list apps you don't own, fake ownership verification, or misstate an app's revenue, users or data.
  • Don't manipulate votes or pitches, including with extra accounts.
  • Don't post spam, harassment, hateful or illegal content, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Don't scrape the site, probe it for weaknesses, or interfere with how it runs.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you post: listings, pitches, comments and messages.
  • You give MRR Zero a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it to run and promote the service, including on social media and in the weekly digest. The licence ends when you delete the content, except where others have already shared it or we need it for records.
  • You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

Scores

Opportunity scores, listing scores and search demand are automated estimates. They are not valuations or advice.

Moderation

MRR Zero can remove listings, pitches or comments and suspend accounts. Apps that break store policies, adult content, gambling, and scraped or cloned apps are not allowed.

Disputes

Transfer disputes go to an admin through the transfer room. Admins can see the log but cannot force a transfer. Ownership disputes pause a listing until the claimant re-verifies.

Suspension and closing your account

  • We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other members at risk, or exposes MRR Zero to legal claims.
  • You can stop using MRR Zero at any time. To close your account, email mark@mrrzero.com.

No warranty

MRR Zero is provided as it is and as available. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose, or that any listing, pitch or transfer will succeed.

Our liability

  • We're not liable for losses caused by members, by apps listed or transferred, or by third-party services such as the App Store, Google Play or your hosting providers.
  • We're not liable for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for indirect losses.
  • Because MRR Zero is free, our total liability to you is limited to £100.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against MRR Zero because of an app you listed or took over, content you posted, or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
